Founder of Moran Accountants

Peter’s spent the early part of his accountancy career working as a an auditor / management consultant with KPMG in Sydney and Ernst & Young in Wellington, Auckland (NZ) and London (UK). He returned to Melbourne in 1972 to establish the practice that is Moran Accountants in Melbourne.

A registered tax agent, a CPA and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a past member in New Zealand, Peter’s experience and expertise in auditing, management consulting and local and international taxation was fundamental to the growth of the practice as was his range of contacts which he developed during his younger days as a rugby player and later through his keen interest in horse racing and VRC membership.

He was particularly proud of the fact that his three children not only followed in his accounting footsteps but ultimately chose to join him in the practice that bears their family name.
